I'm Daniel, Director of Pacote Ltd. Over the last 25 years, I've worked as a professional photographer, helping schools, charities, businesses and arts organisations tell their stories through authentic, engaging imagery.

I lead all photography projects personally, supported by a small team of trusted photographers when additional coverage is required. Every member of the team is DBS checked and carefully selected and trained to work to the same high standards. This means that, whether I’m working alone or coordinating a larger team, you can expect a consistent, professional service with safeguarding at its core.

Vision
As a parent, I found myself underwhelmed by the school photos my son brought home each year. Speaking with other parents, I realised many felt the same, especially when it came to the balance between quality and price. I felt there was room for a more thoughtful approach to school photography, creating portraits that are better lit, more naturally posed, and ultimately images that parents and carers genuinely want to keep.
Photographing children takes time and care. A relaxed approach helps them feel comfortable and allows natural, genuine expressions to come through in an environment they know.
A share of profits is also returned to the schools and nurseries we work with, helping to fund resources and activities.
Why our photos look different
TIME
We take the time to make children feel comfortable, capturing natural poses and expressions.
LIGHTING
Professional lighting, specialist equipment and years of experience combine to create natural, flattering portraits.
BACKDROP
We capture children in their own familiar surroundings, like the classroom or library. If that isn’t possible, we create a backdrop to reflect their learning environment.
